Apparently Mom Sandy is having issues with getting on the blog to update Dad's status. I'm at work, so just a quick update from my phone call with her last night. Dad walked down the hall and back three times yesterday. The physical therapist came in and walked with him once and then he insisted the nurse come in later that day and walk with him the other times. Jess and Jason, feel free to take this on when you get there. If Dad feels like walking, get him up and take him. Don't let the nurses intimidate you. It seems they are reluctant to do it. they want the PT to do it but he/she is only coming in once per day and that's not often enough. Dad also had a visit from a former co-worker and Mom said that seemed to really lift his spirits. Well, time to get back to work. I'll be interested to see what lies ahead with our new administration and how it affects my job.
